Deleting your account

How to permanently delete your Turtleway account and data, what gets removed, and how it differs from disconnecting a linked account.

Last updated June 1, 2026

Turtleway hasn't launched publicly yet, so the details below describe how account deletion will work once the app is live. You're always in control of your data, and you can delete your account at any time.

How do I delete my account?

You'll have two ways to delete your Turtleway account:

  • In the app. Use the Delete account option inside Turtleway.
  • By email. Write to support@turtleway.io with the subject "Delete my account".

What happens when I delete?

We process deletion requests within 7 business days. When we do, we permanently delete:

  • your account and profile;
  • saved notes and activity history;
  • any financial data retrieved through your connected accounts.

Crash logs are automatically purged after 30 days. We may retain limited information if we're required to meet legal, tax, or security obligations, or in de-identified or aggregated form. For the full details, see Account deletion in our Privacy Policy.

Deleting vs. disconnecting an account

These are different actions:

  • Disconnecting a linked account removes a single connection and stops Turtleway from pulling new data for it, but keeps your Turtleway account. See Connecting your investment accounts.
  • Deleting your Turtleway account removes everything, including all connected accounts and the data we hold.
